"Hajj Advisor" Shahjehan Baig
Born and raised in the heart of Chicago, Shahjehan Baig received his Bachelors in Science from Devry University in Telecommunications. While working, Shahjehan received his Masters in Science from DePaul University also in Telecommunications. Living in Chicago, Shahjehan has constantly kept close company with the ulama from which he benefited greatly. Shahjehan was able to take part in the IIE Shariah Program with Mufti Yasir and Maulana Obadullah, along with Tajweed classes at IIE with Maulana Aziz. Alhamdulillah, Shahjehan has gone to Hajj multiple times and has a lot of experience in coordinating events. Currently, Shahjehan is studying tajweed and Arabic with Maulana Ismail at Makki Masjid. By profession, he works as a Senior Consultant for Accenture in Chicago, where he lives with his wife and family. Apart from work, Shahjehan is an active member of the Islamic Center of Chicago (ICC's) Full-time school committee and regularly volunteers at ICC in various capacities. ADDITION--Alhamdulillah, Shahjehan attends Hajj with CHU every year. He assists Haajees in all aspects of their Hajj from the time they leave the United States till their return. Furthermore, Shahjehan advises CHU in regards to the Umrah and Hajj packages whilst in Chicago.
